Section 25(1) in THE COCHIN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ACT, 1986
(1)(a)TheUniversity shall have suchfaculties as may be prescribed by the Statutes from time time.(b)Each Faculty shall subject to the control of the Academic Council, be responsible for the co-ordination of study and research in the branches of studies represented in the Boards of Studies coming under its purview.
