Query- Did Birendra Nath Bhattabharjee give RTI on the paper No reply 7: entitled Batch and continuous biosorption of Cu (II) by immobilized biomass" Journal of Environmental Management. P9 3313-3321, 2009 for the deletion of his name? If yes than please provide the photocopy of the reply given by C.P.I.O, BHU to the RTI. given by Birendra Nath Bhattacharjee for his query regarding the paper entitled "Batch and continuous biosorption of Cu(II) by immobilized biomass" Journal of Environmental Management. Information on queries 3, 4 & 7 was not provided.
Order of the FAA:
"The Dy.Registrar (Admin)1 & C.A.P.I.O., BHU, vide his letter No.AB/RTIACT/CAPIO- 944(2)/2127, dated 4.1.2010, sent a copy of letter of Mr.Ravikant Mishra, to Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, IT, for disposal of the point nos.6 & 7 of appeal, as Appellate Authority. The Point nos.6 & 7 of the referred letter of the aforementioned appellant are as under: Point No.6: Was no objection certificate from Applied Chemistry given to Birendra Nath Bhattacharjee for the transfer to Ceramic Engineering? If yes then please provide the photocopy of the same. -
PointNo.7: Did Birendra Nath Bhattaeharjee gave RTI on the paper entitled "Batch and continuous biosorption of Cu(II) by immobilized biomass" Journal of Environmental Management. Pg.3313- 3321; 2009 for the deletion of his name? If yes, then please provide the photocopy of the reply given by CPIO;BHU to the RTI given by Biréndra Nath Bhattacharee for his query regarding the paper entitled "Batch and continuous biosorption of CU(II)by immobilized biomass" Journal of Environmental Management. Pg.33133321, 2009.

This disposes of the first appeal made by Mr.Ravikant Mishra under RTI."
Ground of the Second Appeal:
This in reference to the RTI given in order to obtain information on dated 12.11.09 .I also would like to inform you that I have not received any information on question number 3 and 4. Also the reply given for question no. 7 is incomplete. The reply of question no. 7 is mentioning that enclosures are given but there is no enclosure only covering letter is there.

The Respondent represents only Department of Ceramic who states he has provided information only with respect to point-5. The Appellant has filed his appeal since he complaints that he has not been provided information on queries 3 & 4. He also states that the information provided on query-7 is incomplete since it has been mentioned that enclosures are included but no enclosures were provided to him.
Decision:
The Appeal is allowed.
The Responsible PIOs for query-3 & 4 should provide the information and the PIO responsible for query-7, HOD of Department of applied chemistry should provide the enclosures for query-7 before 15 April 2011.
This decision is announced in open chamber.
Notice of this decision be given free of cost to the parties. Any information in compliance with this Order will be provided free of cost as per Section 7(6) of RTI Act.
