Section 90 in The Orissa Municipal Corporation Act, 2003
90. Maintenance of secrecy of voting.
- Every officer, clerk, agent or other person performing any duty in connection with the recording or counting of votes at an election who, except for some purpose authorized by or under any law, communicates to any person any information showing, directly or indirectly for which candidate any voter has voted, and every person who by any improper means procures any such information, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description which may extend to six months or with fine, or with both.
