70. Electoral offences promoting enmity among public in connection with election.
- Any person who in connection with an election under these rules promotes or attempts to promote on grounds of caste and community, feelings of enmity or hatred among electors of a market area shall be punishable with a fine which may extend to five hundred rupees.
