Section 5(2) in The West Bengal State University (Barasat, North 24-Parganas) Act, 2007.
(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), any college or institution situated beyond the limits of any district, with the sanction of the State Government, may apply to the University for affiliation and the University may, subject to such conditions and restrictions as it may, with the approval of the State Government, think fit to impose, admit the same to all the privileges of the University.
