State of West Bengal - Section

Section 2 in West Bengal Stamp Rules, 1994

2. Definitions.

- In these rules-
(a)"Act" means the Indian Stamp Act. 1899 (2 of 1899).
(b)"Section" means a section of the Act.
(c)"Schedule" means a schedule of the Act.
(d)"Superintendent of Stamps" means the Superintendent of Stamps, Calcutta and any other officer appointed by the Government of West Bengal to perform the functions of a Superintendent of Stamps.
