Section 47B in Gujarat University (Amendment) Act, 1972
47B. Joint Consultative Committees.- (1) There shall be formed as many Joint Consultative Committees for the purpose of promoting welfare of members of the non-teaching staff of the University, affiliated colleges and recognized institutions as may be deemed necessary by the University.
(2)The constitution of such Committees, the term of office of its members and the powers and functions of the Committees shall be such as may be prescribed by the Statutes.
