State of H.P. Vs. Mohd. Usman @ Sahil & Ors. Cr. Appeal No. 484/2015 18.07.2024 Present: Ms. Sharmila Patial and Mr. Navlesh Verma, Additional Advocates General with Mr. Raj Negi, Deputy Advocate General, for the appellant-State.
Mr. Arun Roy and Mr. Tanuj Thakur, Advocates, for respondent No. 1. None for the remaining respondents. Learned counsel for respondent No. 1 states that his client is currently lodged in judicial lockup at Kaithu, Shimla and is ready to comply with order dated 03.11.2015 by executing the bonds in the sum of Rs. 50,000/- with his surety, Salim Mohd. His statement is taken on record.
Accordingly, respondent No. 1 is directed to furnish bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 50,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent, Kaithu, Shimla and on his doing so, he shall be forthwith released subject to the condition that he shall appear in this Court as and when directed and to receive any sentence which may be imposed on the conclusion of the appeal. Release warrants be prepared accordingly.
The Jail Superintendent, Kaithu, Shimla, is directed to send the bail bonds after its attestation to the Registry of this Court, forthwith.
