Section 18 in The Metal Corporation (Nationalisation and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1976
18. Protection of action taken in good faith.-
(1)No suit, prosecution or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Central Government or any officer of that Government or the Administrator or the Government company or any officer or other person authorised by that Government or Government company for anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act.(2)No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against the Central Government or any of its officers or other employees or the Government company or any officer or other person authorised by that company for any damage caused or likely to be caused by anything which is in good faith done or intended to be done under this Act.
