Section 5(1) in The Karnataka State Civil Services (Regulation of Transfer of Medical Officers and other Staff) Act, 2011
(1)No Specialist or Senior Specialist with Post Graduate Degree or Diploma shall be posted or transferred to work in a post which is not identified as specialist post related or commensurate to the subject or specialisation in which he possesses Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate diploma.
