Section 58 in The Delhi Agricultural Produce Marketing (Election) Rules, 2000
58. Power to declare persons elected in certain contingencies.
- If at any election after counting of votes is completed an equality of votes is found to exist between any candidates and addition of one vote entitle any of these candidate to be declared elected the returning officer shall draw lot of one vote and decide between those candidate on whom the lot falls to have received an additional vote.
