300. Connection and disconnection of electric fans and duration of employment of punkha-pullers.
- As a general rule electric fans in all Government non-residential buildings should be connected:-(a)in the plains on the 15th March, and(b)in the hills (above 1,000) on the 31st March,and disconnected-(a)in the plains on the 31st October, and(b)in the hills (above 1,000) on the 16th October.Similarly punkha-pullers may be employed every year in Government offices in the plains where electric fans are not in use during the period, the 15th March to the 31st October, and in those in the hills (above 1,000) where there are no electric fans during the period, the 31st March to the 16th October.
