Grounds for Second Appeal The CPIO did not provide the desired information. Submissions made by Appellant and Respondent during Hearing:
The appellant submitted that he is not satisfied with the reply of the CPIO or the FAA's order as the information was incorrectly denied. During the hearing, the appellant vehemently argued that there is no involvement of any security issue as he just wanted to know the reason for issuing security passes only to some personnel.3
The CPIO submitted that an appropriate reply was given to the appellant on 24.07.2021 & 31.08.2021. He also reiterated the contents of his written submissions dated 23.08.2022.
Observations:
From a perusal of the relevant case records, it is noted that on points (a) & (d) in File No. CIC/MESER/A/2021/141398 and on point (a) for the rest of the files, the desired information was given to the appellant vide the letters dated 24.07.2021 & 25.08.2021. With respect to points (b) & (c), the information was rightly denied u/s 8(1)(a) & 8(1)(j) of the RTI Act. The Commission is unable to find any flaw in the reply of the CPIO or the FAA's order, hence, no further relief can be given.
Decision:
In view of the above, no action lies.
The appeals are disposed of accordingly.
