(1)The penalties imposed pursuant to the provisions of Chapter VIII or Chapter IX, shall be in addition to, and not in derogation of, any liability in respect of payment of compensation or payment of any fees or charges due by an authorised entity or assignee.(2)The provisions of this Act are in addition to and without prejudice to any other liability which a person may have incurred under any other law for the time being in force.
