Section 8(8) in The University Grants Commission (Recognition and Monitoring of Assessment & Accreditation Agencies) Regulations, 2018
8.2The Commission shall create a mechanism wherein every Higher Educational Institution would be charged a fee that would be collected in a Central Pool to create a fund; to avoid a direct link between a Higher Educational Institution and an accreditation agency.
