Constitution of India seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus
directing the 1st respondent to instruct the 4th respondent
to disburse the petitioner's salary from 01.06.2017 to till
date for his service as the OHT Operator in Pappakudi
Village Panchayat, Sattur, by considering his
representation dated 06.08.2020.

ORDER
Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
2.According to the petitioner, he was appointed as Over Head Tank (OHT) operator at Pappakudi Village Panchayat, Sattur Panchayat Union, Virudhunagar District and is rendering his service without any blemish. But, he was not paid with any salary from 01.06.2017. In this regard, he has sent repeated representations to the authorities, but all his efforts ended in vein. Therefore, he is before this Court with the present writ petition.
3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner dated 06.08.2020 is directed to be disposed of, within a stipulated time limit.

4.In view of the limited scope of the relief sought for, this Court, without expressing anything on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
