Section 1 in The Punjab Local Authorities (Census Expenses Contribution) Act, 1950
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Punjab Local Authorities (Census Expenses Contribution) Act, 1950;(2)It extends to the whole of Punjab but nothing herein contained shall affect the powers of the Cantonment Authorities with respect to the application of cantonment funds and property.(3)It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf.
