Section 60(3) in The M.P. Extension of Laws Act, 1958
(3)(a)The provisions of Part 111 of Chapter X shall be in force in any local area in Mahakoshal region which has been or may hereafter be declared to be a municipality or notified area under the Central Provinces Municipalities Act, 1922 (II of 1922), and shall, on the commencement of the Madhya Pradesh Extension of Laws Act, 1958 (23 of 1958) come into force in every local area of any other region of the State which has been or may hereafter be declared to be a municipality or a notified area under any corresponding law in force in that region.(b)The provisions of Part III of Chapter X shall be in force in any other local area in which they were in force immediately before the commencement of the Madhya Pradesh Extension of Laws Act, 1958 (23 of 1958), and Government may, from time to time, by notification in the Official Gazette, bring into force these provisions in any other local area of the State and may cancel or modify any such notification."Section 3. - (1) Omit clause (14).
