Section 36(2) in The West Bengal University of Animal and Fishery Sciences Act, 1995
(2)Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, on and from the appointed day,-(a)the Fishery Research Station of Junput in the district of Midnapore shall stand disaffiliated from the Department of Fisheries, Government of West Bengal, and transferred to the University as its constituent Faculty of Fishery Sciences, and(b)the research projects related to veterinary sciences, animal sciences and dairy technology of the former University shall stand transferred to, and vest in, the University.
