Section 2(k) in Andhra Pradesh University Professional Institutions (Regulation of Admissions into Under-Graduate Professional Courses through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2003
(k)"Qualified Candidate" means the candidate who has appeared for EAMCET or ECET for admission into the related Professional Course and has been assigned ranking in the Common Merit List under Rule 5 of the A. P. Common Entrance Test for entry into Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Medical and Dental Course Rules, 2003 and Rule 6 of the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders (ECET-FDH) Rules, 2003.
