(2)The Dean shall be elected by the members of the Faculty Council [for post-graduate studies] [Words inserted by W.B. Act 9 of 1998.] and shall act as Vice-Chairman of the Faculty Council. He shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be prescribed by Regulations.
