Section 2(2) in Andhra Pradesh Farmers Management of Irrigation Systems Rules
(2)For the said purpose the Election Authority shall, subject to such directions as may be issued by the Government in pursuance of and in consonance with the provisions of the Act in this behalf, by notification published in Form 1, in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette, call upon, on such date or dates as may be specified therein, to elect the Member, Managing Committee and President of the Water Users' Association, in accordance with the provisions of the Act, and the Rules and orders made thereunder.
