9. This chapter applicable only to canals under Schedule I.
- Except as the [State Government] [Substituted for the word 'Provincial' by the Adaptation of Laws Order, 1950.] may otherwise direct under section 69 the provisions of this Chapter shall apply only to canals for the time being included under Schedule I.
