Section 11(1) in The Assam Co-operative Societies Rules, 1953
(1)When the Registrar directs any society to amend its bye-laws in accordance with the amendment drafted and forwarded to the society by him, society shall on receipt of such direction proceed in the manner provided in Rule 10 to consider the making of such amendment within two months or such longer period as may be specified in the order. When the society adopts any amendments of bye-laws action shall be taken as provided in Rule 10 for registration.
