Section 2(q) in Puducherry School Education Act, 1987
(q)"public examination" means an examination conducted by the Boards of Secondary Education in the States of Tamil Nadu, Kerela and Andhra Pradesh or any other Board or authority which may hereafter be established for the purpose, and recognised by the Government or any other officer authorised by him in this behalf ;
