Section 1 in Assam Acquisition of Land for Flood Control and Prevention of Erosion Act, 1955
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be said the Assam Acquisition of Land for Flood Control and Prevention of Erosion Act, 1955.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Assam.(3)It shall come into force at once.
