9. Rent when deemed as paid and dispute regarding rentpayable.—
(1)Where the landlord evades receiving the rent and giving a receipt, the tenant shall be deemed to have paid the rent if he sends the same by postal money order to or deposits it with the Tahsildar.(2)A dispute between the landlord and the tenant as regards the rent payable shall, on the application of the landlord or the tenant, be determined by the Tahsildar.
