Section 17(1) in The Agricultural Produce Marketing (Development and Regulation) Act, 2007
(1)Any member of the Marketing Board may resign his office by writing under his hand addressed to the Chairman and the Chairman may resign his office by writing under his hand addressed to the State Marketing Officer and such resignation shall take effect from the date it is accepted by the Chairman or the State Marketing Officer, as the case may be.
