Section 31 in The Manipur (Sales of Motor Spirit and Lubricants) Taxation Act, 1962
31. Protection of persons acting in good faith and limitation of suits and proceedings.-
(1)No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall be instituted against any officer of the Government for anything done or intended to be done in good faith under this Act or the rules made thereunder.(2)No suit shall be instituted against the Government and no suit, prosecution or other proceeding shall be instituted against any officer of the Government in respect of anything done or intended to be done, under this Act unless the suit, prosecution or other proceeding is instituted within four months from the date of the act complained of.
