Section 1(iv) in Regulation for the Import of Equine Species of Animals into India
(iv)the equine shall be imported only through the International airports of Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai or any other airport notified by the Government from time to time and the quarantine officers may be informed by the importer in writing at least fifteen days prior to the arrival of the consignment;
