Section 4(1) in The Gujarat Private Forests (Acquisition) Act, 1973
(1)Where any private forest vested in the State Government under the provisions of this Act, any person who is in possession of such forest at the time of such vesting shall immediately hand over possession thereof to the Collector or to any other officer authorized by the State Government or by the Collector in this behalf.
