Section 3(1) in Tamil Nadu Pachaiyappa's Trust and of The Public Trust and Endowments Specified in Schedule (Taking Over of Management) Act, 1981
(1)With effect on and from the date of the commencement of this, Act, the management of the Pachaiyappa's Trust in so far as it vests in the Board of Trustees under the Pachaiyappa's Trust scheme, shall vest in the Government for a period of years and accordingly the powers, duties and functions exercised and performed by the Board of Trustees shall for the said period be exercised and performed by the Government either directly or through a Committee of management appointed under sub-section (2).
