Section 16(1)(e) in The Control and Management of Ferries Rules, 1968

(e)If the tender is submitted by a person belonging to any of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or other Backward Classes, then in addition to the requirements of (a), (b) and (c) above, certificate in original or a certified copy thereon in support of his claim to belong to such community from the President of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes, Association or from the Deputy Commissioner or the Additional Deputy Commissioner of the District/Sadar Sub- divisional Officer or the Sub-divisional Officer of the sub-division within whose territorial jurisdiction the tenderer permanently resides should be enclosed.
