(2)If the interim compensation which has been paid exceeds the total amount of compensation, the Compensation Officer shall record the fact in the register of interim compensation in Z.A. Form 32 and the register for payment of compensation in Z.A. Form 38 and shall forward report containing full details to the Collector for recovery of the amount paid in excess.
