(6)The Research and Extension Council may make regulations for:(i)Constitution of zonal councils and working groups for various related disciplines in research stations and extension centres;(ii)Monitoring and evaluation of research and extension programme;(iii)Functioning of different research and extension programmes,(iv)Integration of research, extension and teaching,(v)Training programmes for various functionaries involved in Horticultural development,(vi)Conferring distinctions and awarding prizes to the farmers and others who contributed for the development of horticulture;(vii)Any other purpose envisaged in the objects of the University relating to research and extension.Chapter - IX Miscellaneous
