123. Penalty for infringement of bye-laws.
- In making any bye-laws a Panchayat Samiti may direct that a breach of the same shall be punishable with fine which may extend to rupees five hundred and in the case of a continuing breach, with a further fine which may extend to five rupees for every day during which the breach is continued after conviction for the first such breach so, however, that it does not exceed in the aggregate five hundred rupees.
