Section 12(1) in The Maharashtra Tribal Economic Condition (Improvement) Act, 1976
(1)Any person, who in contravention of the provisions of subsection (2) of section 4, lends anything as provided in that sub-section, to a Tribal, shall, on conviction, be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years or with fine which may extend to five thousand rupees or with both.
