Section 2(iii) in Bihar Minerals (Prevention of Illegal Mining, Transportation and Storage) Rules, 2003
(iii)"Competent Officer" means Asst. Mining Officer/Distt. Mining Officer/ Geologist posted as Mining Officer in district and any other officer authorised by the State Government.
