(ii)[ Unfurnished accommodation suitable to his status on deduction of ten percent of his basic pay or the standard rent as may be determined by the Food Corporation of India whichever is less. In case furnished accommodation is provided, hire charges @ 21/2% of his pay for the furnishings provided by the Corporation (cost of which shall not exceed Rs.
