Section 12(1) in Kerala Agricultural University Act, 1971
(1)The General Council shall be the supreme authority of the University and shall have the power to review the actions of the Executive committee and the Academic Council save where the Executive Committee or the Academic Council as acted in accordance with the powers conferred upon it under this Act, the Statutes, the Ordinances or the Regulations, and shall exercise all the powers of the University not otherwise provided for by this Act or the Statutes.Provided that if any question arises as to whether the Executive Committee or the Academic Council has acted in accordance with such powers as aforesaid or not, the question shall be decided by the Chancellor and his decision shall be final.
