Section 55(4) in The West Bengal Primary Education Act, 1973
(4)The State Government shall appoint a person [possessing such qualifications as may be prescribed] [Words substituted for the words 'who is in the service of the State Government' by W.B. Act 25 of 1975.] as the [Controller of Finance] [Words substituted for the words 'Finance Officer' by W.B. Act 17 of 2009.] upon such terms and conditions and on such pay and allowances as the State Government may determine.
