Section 2 in The Mineral (Non-exclusive Reconnaissance Permits) Rules, 2015
2. Definition.
(1)In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires, "Act" means the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957).(2)Words and expressions defined in the Act and used, but not defined in these rules, shall have the same meaning as assigned to them in the Act.
