8. Officers of the University.
- The following shall be the officers of the University, namely:-(i)The Chancellor,(ii)The Vice-Chancellor,[(ii-a) The Pro-Vice-Chancellor,] [Clauses (iia) was inserted by Gujarat 10 of 1982, Section 2, Schedule, Sr. No. 6 (1) (w.r.e.f. 09-12-1981).](iii)The Deans of Faculties,(iv)The Registrar, and(v)Such other officers in the service of the University, as may be declared by the Statutes to be officers of the University.
