Section 2 in Calcutta High Court (Jurisdictional Limits) Act, 1919
2. Limits of ordinary original civil jurisdiction.
The ordinary original civil jurisdiction of the High Court of Judicature at Fort William in Bengal shall be exercised within the limits set out in the Schedule:Provided that nothing in this Act shall affect any suit or other legal proceeding pending in any Court at the date of the commencement of this Act.THE SCHEDULE(See section 2)
