Section 26(1) in Tamil Nadu Farmers' Management of Irrigation Systems Election Rules, 2003
(1)When a person presents himself to vote and at any time before a ballot paper is supplied to him, he may be enquired if so required by a candidate put to such person either one or both of the following questions:-(a)are you the person enrolled as follows ? (reading the whole entry from the roll); j(b)have you already voted at the present election at this polling station or at any other polling station ?
