                     PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India,
                     to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order or
                     Direction in the nature of a Writ, directing the respondents 1 to 5 to
                     forthwith publish the result of the selected candidates for the post of
                     Lecturer (Mechanical) for Bhaktavatsalam Aided Polytechnic College and
                     consequently, to appoint the selected candidates as selected by the Staff
                     Selection Committee of the College.

                                                           ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to forthwith publish the result of the selected candidates for the post of Lecturer (Mechanical) for Bhaktavatsalam Aided Polytechnic College and consequently, to appoint the selected candidates as selected by the Staff Selection Committee of the College.

2.The grievance of the Writ Petitioner is that the 3rd respondent has called for application for the post of Lecturer (Mechanical) on 24.02.2023.

The petitioner submitted her application to the said post on 27.04.2023 and Page No.2 of 6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.23859 of 2023 she was called for certificate verification by the 5th respondent on 26.06.2023. The petitioner has produced all her educational certificates on 05.07.2023 before the Staff Selection Committee. After verification of the certificates, the petitioner has been permitted for written examination. The petitioner has passed in the written examination and allowed to attend the interview on 05.07.2023, however, the result has not been published so far.

Hence, seeks direction of this Court to publish the results.

3.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and perused the entire materials.

4.On perusal of the entire materials, it is seen that without even making any representation to the concerned authority to publish the result for the post of Lecturer (Mechanical), the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for Mandamus.

5.In such view of the matter, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to give the representation to the respondents to publish the result Page No.3 of 6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.No.23859 of 2023 within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such representation, the respondents shall consider the same and pass order on merits within a month.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.

No costs.
