Section 2 in The West Bengal Premises Tenancy Rules, 1999
2. Definitions.
- In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires, -(a)the expression "the Act" means the West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act, 1997 (West Bengal Act XXXVII of 1997);(b)"Form" means a Form appended to these rules;(c)"section" means a section of the Act;(d)words and expressions used in these rules and not defined shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
