1. Petitioner has filed this bail application under Section 439 of Cr.P.C.

2. F.I.R. No. 162/2020 was registered at Police Station Kherli, District Alwar for offence under Sections 143, 304-B, 201, 120-B of I.P.C.

3. It is contended by counsel for the petitioner that complete lockdown was declared on 23.03.2020 and deceased committed suicide on 24.03.2020. Information of which was sent to the relatives of deceased but due to lockdown, no one came and the cremation was done.

4. Learned Public Prosecutor and counsel for the complainant have opposed the bail application. It is contended that deceased was murdered within one month of her marriage and cremation was done to conceal the offence. It is also contended that deceased was murdered on 24.03.2020 and was cremated early morning on 25.03.2020 and even the villagers have stated that the cremation was done discreetly.

5. I have considered the contentions.

6. Considering the contentions put forth by counsel for the State and counsel for the complainant, I am not inclined to entertain the bail application.

7. Accordingly, this Criminal Misc. Bail Application is dismissed.
