Section 63(1) in The Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (Conduct of Business) Regulations, 2005
(1)In terms of Section 95 of the Electricity Act, 2003, the proceedings before the Commission shall be deemed to be judicial proceedings within the meaning of Sections 193 and 228 of the Indian Penal Code and Commission shall be deemed to be a Civil Court for the purposes of Sections 345 and 346 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
