Section 2(a) in The Punjab Land Preservation Act, 1900
(a)the expression "land" means land within any [-] [The word 'local' omitted by Punjab Act 4 of 1944, section 3(a).] area preserved and protected or otherwise dealt with in manner in this Act provided, and includes benefits to arise out of land and things attached to the earth or permanently fastened to anything attached to the earth;
